Who we are
Archimedes is operated by MGD ADVISORY LTD (company no. 17298622), 77 Purves Road, London, United Kingdom, NW10 5TD. In these terms, “we” and “us” means MGD ADVISORY LTD, which is also the data controller for your personal data (see the privacy policy).
1. The service
Archimedes is an AI coaching service. After an intake conversation we create personal one-week plans and deliver short coaching lessons by phone or WhatsApp call, with reminders and follow-ups by email or WhatsApp message. Archimedes is an AI — not a human coach.
2. Not therapy or professional advice
Archimedes is for personal development only. It is not therapy, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and not a crisis service. If you are in crisis or at risk, contact your local emergency services (999 in the UK) or Samaritans (116 123).
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or over and give accurate details, including a phone number you control.
- Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Do not misuse the service (e.g. abuse, attempts to break or overload it, or using it for anyone else without permission).
4. Calls, messages and recording
- By booking a lesson you ask us to call you at that time by WhatsApp or phone, and to send reminders and missed-call messages about it.
- Calls and chats are recorded and transcribed to deliver the coaching (see the privacy policy).
- Lessons are short (about 15 minutes). The first lesson may run longer so you can book your remaining lessons.
- Standard call, data or messaging charges from your carrier may apply. You can reschedule by replying on WhatsApp or asking Archimedes, and ask us to stop messages at any time by replying or emailing us.
5. Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you do, we only read free/busy information to find lesson times, as described in our privacy policy. You can disconnect at any time.
6. Payments, trials and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe. Weekly repeat sessions after the first week are part of paid plans.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals. Unless required by law, payments already made are not refunded, but contact us if something went wrong and we will be fair.
- UK/EU consumers have a 14-day right to cancel a new subscription; by starting lessons within that period you ask us to begin the service and may be charged for what you used.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to deliver every booked lesson, but calls can fail (network, carrier or provider outages). If we miss a lesson we will offer to call you back or rebook. We may change or discontinue features and will tell you about significant changes in advance.
8. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
9. Ending your use
You may stop using Archimedes and ask us to delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (without affecting any mandatory rights you have where you live).
